Turkish luxury accomodation in Bursa

I moved to Bursa, a very nice city with historical attractions and a quite conservative culture. It is located in the Marmara region and it has been the capital of the Ottoman State, but today with its almost 2.8 million inhabitants is one of the most important cities in the country. The first settlement in the area was established around 5200 BC and now it is possible to see different archeological sites, even if some of the finds are abroad in important museums.

Around the center, there is the Grand Mosque, an example of Ottoman architecture with its two minarets, different ancient mosques, the three bazaars, and the Castle, from where to see the city from the top. Among the attractions, there are art, architecture, and archeological museums. To see everything is necessary a week, but in few days it is possible to enjoy life and to visit the most important places.

I was searching for a luxury hotel where to stay and I noticed that a bit far from the center of Bursa there is a quiet area with some luxury hotels. Among the international brands like Sheraton, Crowne Plaza, and so on there is a local one called Hotel Gold Majesty. I wanted to use the Turkish luxury and I am satisfied with my choice.

There is a huge entrance, made with modern furniture and decor, but the idea is really to be in a big building, as it is. Gold color mixed with brown and white colors characterize the common spaces. From the reception, the guest passes a small bridge to enter a big corridor and arrive at the elevators of the different wings of the hotel to reach the room. Flowers, paintings, sculptures, and modern creative objectives are everywhere to give the idea of luxury and art.

Guest rooms are really spacious, well equipped and with modern furniture. In my suite, there is a round bed and a big Jacuzzi in the bathroom. A comfortable sofa and armchairs are part of the lounge located together with the room form were to have a very nice view of the city, even if the best panorama with mountains and part of the city is available from the top floor from one of the restaurants, sometimes used as a meeting room as well. A big flat-screen TV, a good Wi-Fi connection and a minibar are part of the equipment.

The breakfast served in the ground floor restaurant is prepared with good food and most of the plates are traditional, as the menu is offered during lunch and dinner time. In the hall of the hotel, there are comfortable armchairs where to relax and chat with some friends or colleagues. Waiters are always available around there and guests can order some good Turkish tea.
