Four architects and designer are the authors of the reinterpretation for Prada. The famous fashion brand presented during the Men’s Fashion Week in Milan last weekend a new project entitled ”Prada Inivtes”. The creativity people hired by the company have the task to work on the brand idendity, especially on the industrial side, with the Black Nylon tissue, an icon for the brand.
Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, Konstantin Grcic, Herzog & de Meuron and Rem Koolhaas explored the Prada’s imaginary archives to find poetical, practical, technical and aesthetic aspects of Nylon. From each of them some new ideas came, uniting the features of Prada and their experience. Bags and clothes took a new shape to conquest the fashionists and the clients of the maison.
Ronan Bouroullec designed a shoulder bag, inspired by the folder for drawings, meanwhile Konstantin Grcic prepared a bag inspeired by fishermen gilet, following the idea giving somenting useful with an appropriate space for accessoires. Herzog & de Meuron projected products with a clear design in the mind that recall tattoos clothes. The backpack is prepared by Rem Koolhaas, giving a contemporary and metropolitan design, to combine practicality to aesthetic.
