Did you see ”Last Holiday”? It is a romantic comedy-drama film starring Queen Latifah and Gérard Depardieu made in 2006. I won’t tell you the story, but I strongly suggest you to watch it. The story is really interesting and especially it is a chance to understand the luxury related to the wishes and the habits of the people. Anyway in the movie you can see one of the most famous luxury hotels in Europe: Grandhotel Pupp.
The accomodation is located in Czech Republic, in Karlovy Vary and it was set also in a James Bond film and each year it hosts the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. Built in 1701 it is a huge structure with 228 rooms included some suites and flats, as the presidential one. The tradition and the modern equipment are very well combinated in every rooms and as well in the different facilities.
The Grandrestaurant Pupp offers an high quality cuisine, but if guests want just to have a light meal or a drink, they can visit Becher’s Bar, Mala Dvorana, Café Pupp or the Golf Restaurant. The various pesence can satisfay any type of request. The wellness area of the Spa & Clinic helps clients to relax and to cure the body and the mind. There are spaces also for meetings and weddings.
Grandhotel Pupp is for sure an example of the traditional luxury coming from the nobles, where opulence is created with style, because everything must be done with sobriety. Many famous people are going to stay in the Czech hotel, because around the town in winter is possible to ski in a very well organized plant and to enjoy the mountains. From the best rooms the view of the landscapes with the snow is breathtaking.
